Lovely views over the harbour, licenced to sell alcohol, coffee and cakes. Also serves sandwiches and ice-cream. They sell crabbing gear here although not bait. What a place to watch the boats sail by on a sunny day.

The Grub Kitchen at the Bug Farm serves great food. If you're feeling adventurous you can even choose some of their bug dishes on the menu. Great for coffee, lunch and evening meal.

Parks & Nature

One of Pembrokeshire's famed beaches for surfing, this is also a great bathing beach (Blue Flag). On the tip of the St David's headland overlooking Ramsey Island, the beach car park has a cafe, shop and public toilets so a great base for a day at the beach with the children, it does get busy during peak season due to it's popularity. It costs £5 to park until 5pm.

Great Blue Flag Beach supervised by lifeguards. Some car park areas have toilets and a cafe. Plenty of space for beach games, it doesn't get as crowded as smaller beaches such as Whitesands.

Beautiful Cathedral and Bishops Palace. Worth a visit. The Bishops Palace hosts outdoor theatre and concerts during the summer months. There is a refectory cafe and shop at the Cathedral. Check their website for events, tours and concerts.

Everything Else

St Davids is a charming place - the smallest city in Britain. It is bustling in peak season - a good selection of cafes, restaurants and other places to eat and drink. Potteries and galleries selling local artwork. Independent shops, delicatessen, butcher, fruit and veg, flower shops and much, much more. Book boat trips to the island here and explore the Cathedral and it's grounds. There is a good play park for children opposite the supermarket.
