Farrers is a very quaint coffee shop and cafe. They roast their own coffee beans here in Kendal and also have a wide variety of teas on offer as well as plenty of interesting treats in the shop.

Beautiful place for a walk with far reaching views across the Lyth Valley and out to Morecambe Bay. Apparently you can spot Blackpool Tower on very clear days. The Pale barked, wind stunted trees and scrubby juniper bushes give the landscape a hobbity feel. There is a vertiginous drop down to the valley on the right.
