Great market! Food stalls are for everyone's taste and vegan/vegetarian options available. The food is very delicious and you can usually try some before buying. Apart from food, depending on the day there are handmade goods and antiques on sale. Also, unique shops surrounds the market, from sweets to shoes.

Parks & Nature

Greenwich Park was the first royal park in London to be enclosed. In 1433 Henry V’s brother, the Duke of Gloucester, was granted a licence to “empark” the land and enclose it within a wall. He also built a manor house in the park and the house was later rebuilt as Greenwich Palace by Henry VII. The park currently covers an area of 73 hectares (183 acres). Fact: The Duke of Gloucester (founder of Greenwich Park) left a vast collection of manuscripts to Oxford University which formed the basis of the famous Bodleian Library. His wife was suspected of being a witch and Henry VI committed her for high treason.

Sightseeing

Check out the Royal Observatory Greenwich, and stand astride the Prime Meridian: The line that divides the world’s eastern and western hemispheres and defines Greenwich Mean Time. With the help of an audio guide, you’ll then learn about the work of British honorary astronomers and hear fun facts about space, time, and the stars. Try to time your visit to see the fall of the red Time Ball by Flamsteed House; it’s among the world’s first public displays of time.

Walk from the property down the river and you will be trapped between the Naval historic significance of British colonial past and the Canary Wharf view over the Thames, the London financial district. It's only 20 minutes walk but we just want to do it again and again so definitely recommended.
