The drive takes you to the top of Lookout Mountain and Buffalo Bill's grave. It's a scenic drive and is also used as a regular climb for cyclists. Great views of Denver from the top.

A short drive to try out high altitude and see beautiful mountain scenery. In season, you can continue to the top of Mt. Evans, one of Colorado's 50+ "14ers", mountains that peak above 14,000 ft. Good hot chocolate at the little cafe/souvenir shop at Echo Lake. Closed in winter.

Light rail takes you to downtown Denver and Union Station with stops in between. About a 20 minute ride to Union Station, you can then enjoy downtown Denver by walking or riding on the free buses that go up and down the 16th Street Mall. It will also take you to the A train that goes to DIA. The Oak St. Station is five minutes from my location.
