Cozy true Italian two-floor restaurant with canal view. They serve great food, there is even a giant stone Pizza oven and hand-machined food elevator! We also love the smell of this place.

A very small Surinam food joint. We call these places Surinam "huiskamers" which literally translates into living room. Great food and ambiance for very little money They don't serve alcohol though.

If your stay in Amsterdam is only of short duration, this is the only museum you should visit. It has just undergone a massive renovation (which took a decade!) and it boasts Rembrandt's Night watch.
