Small bar tucked away from the main road with a great selection of local craft beers on tap. Food can be ordered from some of the local takeaway venues and some will deliver it to you at the bar. :)

An off the beaten track walking trail and not for the faint hearted as some steep hills to climb. Wonderful bush to walk through once you've crossed the initial hills.

Entertainment & Activities
Family owned cinema. Each theatre has a different style to it, some quite quirky and kiwiana. A must visit if you like your movies. You're also allowed to buy your drinks from the Vintry in the same complex and take your drinks in with you to the movie.

Sightseeing
This plant centre is easily driven passed without consideration of stopping by. However, it has a wonderful sculpture trail within its grounds. You do have to pay for the sculpture trail, but in our opinion it's worth it.

Kaipara Coast Plant Centre & Sculpture Gardens
1481 Kaipara Coast HwyThis plant centre is easily driven passed without consideration of stopping by. However, it has a wonderful sculpture trail within its grounds. You do have to pay for the sculpture trail, but in our opinion it's worth it.
