Park anywhere in historic Uptown Shelby and any of these restaurants aren't more than 2 blocks away.
Fine dining in Uptown Shelby. I usually get the filet, but they always have fresh fish and tempting great specials. Nice ambiance with a classical acoustic guitarist. Also, a full bar & a nice wine selection. Save room for the locally made coconut cake!

J-birds is our go to local lunch spot. Delicious warm sandwiches and a dozen or more craft beers on tap. A relaxed warm environment with local art adorning the walls.

You can get just about anything at Joe's Place. They specialize in Italian, Thai & American food. I like the curry but beware if Jan is cooking (ask your server)! Jan is from Thailand (and Joe's wife) and her mild is most folk's hot! They also have a full bar and a casual atmosphere.

Shelby has its own brewery! Newgrass is a wonderfully converted Uptown space with great eats and outside seating. They usually have live music or something fun going on. Check em out!

Another crowded dinner spot. Regina loves the Mousaka and I usually get the Greek platter. They also have pizza & pasta and great lemon cake if they don't run out! We like to sit out front if the weather is nice.

A block or 2 off the main drag, but a great environment with great Mexican food, Margaritas and a salsa bar.
