This place is a must to visit. It has Northern Norway's best fish counter.
You can walk around the counter to sample many varieties of salmon and trout, as well as moose and whale meat. The store is not a chain store, but receives many of its goods from local manufacturers. They also produce a lot of merchandise themselves. They have a large selection of dry fish snacks, dried reindeer and dried whale / seal meat. In addition, they are great at cheese products. They have a cafe where they serve many good self-made dishes, delicious ice cream and more. They can also vacuum pack fresh products you buy, so you can bring them with you on the plane and safely home.
We highly recommend this store. You MUST visit this store while you are in Tromsø. It is located on Kvaloya, approx. 30 min by bus from the city center.
The shop is a good start to the day, when you go on an exploration trip on Kvaloya towards Sommarøya.
