They have a gluten-free almond flour chocolate cake to die for.. IF that doesn't kill you, try their homemade moist banana cake with vanilla frosting a-la-mode.

Cella Bar is busy, so reservations are a must in the summer. Highlights are the architecture (and the food).
This place is trendy and has a fab rooftop deck, but the lower bar is super cool, as a well known Portuguese architect designed it in wood.
FACT: 2 Winters ago a massive sea storm managed to throw a few boulders in from the ocean and destroy the lower bar.. but don't let that deter you. She's looking pretty again ;)

So, can't say I have been there, simply because it opens at 2AM!!!! but its a nightclub and there are dj's and plenty of alcohol and drunken locals! (just don't bring any of them back to our guesthouse ;) ) FUN!!

It is a dormant volcano, good exercise, iconic, and all that makes up this beautiful island of PICO!
Such a nice little picnic/park area and close to "home".
So clean, great undercover stone benches, windmill, bbq grills, toilets and nature.
Oddly enough, 2 bored deer and some geese, fenced in the centre...
Drive to the bottom and there is a wee beach community and some sandy beach and rock climbing areas..
Be safe!
