Do it like the locals! This is a must do hike, just on the outskirts of the city, if you don't have a car you can use bus no. 8 to reach the bottom of the hill, several paths, 30 min hike, moderate difficulty, amazing view of the city, great food!

Great medieval town just 20 min from Ljubljana
A mountain flat area with cute little cottages, you can climb it or use the funicular to reach eat, you can eat on top and/or hike around the cottages and peaks, amazing views of the surrounding mountains, you wont be sorry to go! Combine this with exploration of Kamniška Bistrica valley!

Amazing river valley with a cottage that serves food/drinks and a spring at the end, a must see is also a small canyon just before the cottage!
