2 km from the house before the entrance to the Praia del Rey resort, you will find a typical Portuguese restaurant with selection of local food with fish and meat dishes. We recommend it for a late night meal if you don't feel like cooking at home!

A cool Swedish-owned establishment, where you can have a great meal, spend some time working remotely on a comfy couch or just stop by for a chat with the locals and a cup of coffee. Equally good for everything!

Cool bar overlooking the beach, from where you can check the waves and rent a surfboard, if you feel like it. Otherwise enjoy the view sipping your favourite cocktail ashore. At night the place turns into a clubbing spot with DJs and cool music.

The home of the giant waves of 20-30 meters, that the most brave surfers dare to challenge. Otherwise a nice town at the beachfront, worth visiting. The lighthouse at the top of the cliff is where it is best to watch the waves! 60 km drive from our home.
P. S. The waves are subject to season, mostly seen in January-March period.

The Golf Club House is our first aid for everything! Morning coffee with freshly baked pastry, Internet or ATM - we settle everything we need here. There used to be a small grocery store (pls check if still open!) and regular events for children, that you might want to check out for your kids.
