If you want a fancy date night option - Frasca is one of the best restaurants in either Denver or Boulder. Great food and atmosphere, but $$$.

This is a small chain but has great tacos and margaritas and a beautiful interior. It’s right on the Pearl St Pedestrian Mall so its a good stop after some shopping/people watching.

Another great texmex stop in Boulder - they have good tacos and queso dip. If you are gluten free they’ll serve you any taco in a lettuce shell which is 👌🏽 This is a more casual, relaxed place to eat.

Rayback is a fun stop for dinner or lunch if you’re spending the day in Boulder. Inside they have plenty of seating, a bar and a coffee shop and outside they have food trucks and games (cornhole). Very casual vibe and family friendly.

If you want some great pizza Boss lady is an excellent option. It’s right next to CU boulder campus so if you want to relive your college days you can hit up the college bars and then grab a slice.

Hiking

Mount Sanitas is another favorite hike - it’s a 3.2 mile loop and can get busy. It has beautiful wildflowers, and is rated as a “difficult” hike so would recommend it for those in shape or who have experience.

If you want a trail that’s good for all experience levels, Chataqua is a great way to get outdoors and see the beautiful flatirons without too much strain. The paths are wide and good for casual strolls and you can pick how difficult of a trail you want to follow.
