There are many local sites to visit in all directions.... -Hampton Beach is 3 mi. South on rt. 1A. -North Beach is 1.5 mi east right down the road. -Portsmouth is 12 mi. north and there are many attractions there from historical landmarks to shops and restaurants. Exeter is 15 min to the west....a quaint little town. Also, Phillips Academy is there and UNH is about 25 min away in Durham...
