Beautiful historical Abbey and gardens , be prepared to spend at least half a day visiting this fabulous place in a majestic location. Has a lovely cafe with great food.

At least one walk along the Salthill prom, with its fantastic views of Galway Bay, should be on everyone’s bucket list. But be careful not to miss a gorgeous little park, tucked in between two of the resort’s hotels.

In 2012, someone came up with the bright idea of putting a collection box for charity at the “kicking wall” The harder you kick the more the locals enjoy 😀
