This island is one of the two that sits right in front of St. Thomas. It is mostly national park and visitors can see historic sights, such as old ship repair buildings and century-old defense posts. Getting to the island is easy, a small ferry service runs regularly and a free safari will take you from the dock to honeymoon beach (or you can choose to walk since it is only a short distance away). Annaberg Plantation is a beautiful historic sight. Hundreds of years ago when sugar and rum wherein high demand, these islands were big producers. This plantation was used to harvest sugar from sugar cane, and the buildings are largely intact despite their age.

At around halfway there is a spot where petroglyphs left by the Taino Indians can be seen. The end of the hike is marked by a rocky beach where visitors can take a swim to cool off before returning back up.

St. John Restaurants
St. John has some of the best food scenes in the islands and is easily accessible by the ferries (to see ferry times use this link - https://www.vinow.com/travel/virgin-islands-ferry-schedules/). We recommend going over on the people ferry and returning on it after dark. When crossing the channel at night, there is little light pollution and the stars are amazing to see on a clear night.
Note - Many of the restaurants on St. John will be expensive (save for tap and still and Cruz Bay Landing).
