This looks like a residential neighborhood but don't be fooled. Very quaint with many upscale restaurants and eclectic shops and diners. Most businesses are in a house. Quiet and quaint. Park the car and walk around or you will miss nearly everything. Just a few blocks from the house.

Think New Orleans countrified. Lower Broad and 2nd Ave. through 6th. Ave. Nightlife and shops. This is where the large Honky Tonks are.

Nestled inside downtown you will walk down an alley..... don't be scared. Home to a blues bar , Skulls rainbow room and other bars. Skull's has a great dinner menu, craft cocktails and a burlesque show.

Very close to the house and they do brunch on the weekends. Inexpensive also , which is getting hard to find in Music City . Close to the house

When you want to get away from all the craziness downtown then head midtown to get one of the best steaks you have ever eaten. I personally prefer the steak marinade in coffee. yumm ... close to the house

Here is the place for sea food and close to downtown and the house. You like oysters???? got em. Great great brunch here. You won't be disappointed. Pricey

Super cool and HUGE. Waterfalls , plants , flowers, chandeliers and lots of cool stuff inside. Cool shops , bars and restaurants. A great place to spend an evening somewhere else than Downtown.

No cars allowed. This is a superb spot to take photos of Downtown. From lower Broadway walk toward the river. Turn right at the river and u will see the bridge. Take elevator or stairs up. There is no better place for viewing Downtown as a whole.
