Marina, store, fuel and Restaurant
Aprox 22km from the cabin is Abayance Bay. This is an excellent boat launch. Fee is $10. You can by fuel from the water. The restaurant is top notch with amazing lake views. There is a small store that has snacks,beer and ice.

Watch for horses,buggies and more horses. The cabin is nestled in the West Kootenai Amish community. There is aprox 400 ppl that live there. It’s a simple slow paced life. Please slow down for the horses and wave to the Amish. They are super nice people.

The Kootenai Falls are about 5 miles past Libby MT. There is hiking trails and a swinging bridge.

Take a Dam ride down the dam west side of the highway down the lake and you will get to the Libby Dam. It is very dam impressive. There is even a dam museum there. Make sure to take all the dam pictures you want. I suggest to take the east Lake Koocanusa Byway back so you see both sides of the lake. It’s a very nice dam drive. You will have a dam good day 😃

Major Town
Eureka has many amenities. Grocery stores are Steins or the Montana Market. There are gas stations, liquor store, hardware stores and lots of restaurants. Eureka even has a tiny movie theatre.
