Oh wow, we had the most amazing morning out watching the whales. It's so special. Something I would love to do regularly.

About a 2.5km walk along the beach from Bruce's to the harbour. We often walk there along the coastline and back on the St Francis Dr.

A great place for sunset photos. The lighthouse is a working lighthouse, walking around can be done on trails or clambering over the rocks, Watch the local surfers just down the beach

New Year's Celebrations

I have to confess that I fall outside of the age bracket, but my children assure me it's a great 5 day way to see the New Year in.

Day trip

This is adventurous drive through a game reserve, and is part of the Cape Floristic Region World Heritage Site A trip through the park will take a full day, and you do need a 4x4 or off-road/adventure bike to do that. We did the drive a day or two after heavy rain...was an interesting experience. Refer to https://www.baviaans.co.za/page/baviaanskloof_info for more information.
