These are a few bakeries,caferias,supermarkets & local restuarantes around the neighbourhood that are good alternatives to large chain stores. They are really good and inexpensive.Give them a try. Our families and friends love and frequently visit these places.

We find they have the best breakfast where you can sit down comfortably and won't have to wait forever either. Large plates and fairly priced. Same with their lunch and dinner.

I add this because they have the best Alberta AAA Steaks ! I would not buy anywhereelse. Try it with the Montreal/Keg Spices which also available in Costco. :)

Head East on Yellowhead for a little while and go to Bison Loop.
Best spot for watching Skies...Stars , Moon & Aurora lights...It is said to be the No.1 Dark Sky Reserve in the world. And you may see Bisons walking around if you are lucky. Don't get close to them though. :)
