Good coffee, puppuchino for the 4-legged ones amongst us, good vegetarian twist on bacon and egg roll - with haloumi instead. Their shoestring hot chips are delish!

One of the fanciest venues around. Very cool, non pretentious, with quality simple food a la cart and ever changing menus from fresh local produce. Good wine selection and just everything you need to make it a memorable night out. Be prepared to leave some big bank notes behind (at least for south coast standards :)

Good pies, excellent deserts, so if you need a quick hunger or sweet fix this is your best bet around. Breakfast buns are delish and will complement to your home made breakfast perfectly ($1.50 each).

Although all food looks very good, unfortunately, given the amount of tries I gave them and the high pricing, I can not recommend as I always faced disappointment . The cakes are delicious, but bit too dear compare to other options (think Sareven Bakehouse).

AMAZING burgers, all are phenomenal. The Cheeseburger is a bit too large with its double thick patty for our liking, but taste is there. You will be happy with this one, feels a bit like going back in time. Great for families too. Make sure you bring a jacket no matter how hot the day is - as soon as sun falls behind the escarpment you will feel an instant chill. Trust me on this one!!!

A new local, fancy, trendy brewery! Food menu to die for with fresh ingredients and Sydney standards. Beers on tap very easy to drink and good sided outdoor area. It is right next to the Bulli train station so can ditch the car when going.

Relatively short (1hr) walk up the escarpment - make sure you take good shoes and aren't afraid to climb few ladders. The view is the best reward. Recommend early start (7am) to have the track all to yourself.

Is it raining? You might want to head over to the discovery centre. It is a HUGE kids playground with all sorts of activities. Our daughter loves to play in the outdoor creek! There is a good coffee shop attached to it, so you can easily stay for lunch. The entire area is indoors with fenced outdoors.

Watch the signs as some parts are allowed only on-leash in specific timed slots.
