It really is a wonderful building. Most days you can get in for free if you say you are going to a service. Evensong is on most days 1515 to 1600 with the glorious cathedral choir singing for free too as an added extra.

Find a path that leads along the river and you’ll find it’ll take you quite a long way in either direction. It’s as appropriate for walkers and for cyclists, I’m not sure the early pilgrims had bikes.
