Pikes Peak, "America's Mountain", is a nationwide attraction. With a summit of over 14,000 feet, Pikes Peak draws visitors from near and far. There are several ways to access the peak: a highway, cog railroad, by bike, or on foot. PLEASE NOTE due to construction of the new summit house, the summit is CLOSED until Memorial Day 2021. High altitude tips

Some people who arrive here from sea level are surprised how the high altitude affects them. Be prepared by resting well, staying hydrated, stocking up on immune boosters, and give yourself time to adjust! Headache, loss of appetite, nausea, fatigue, and dizziness are some common symptoms of altitude sickness.
