Beautiful woodland around Gunnislake, Calstock, Cotehele & Gulworthy.
The River Tamar itself is perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. Good launching spots from Morwellham, Calstock and Cotehele.
Calstock has a great pub - The Tamar Inn, an ice cream shop, a cafe and a playground for kids. There is also a train station for links to Bere Alston and Plymouth.
Across the river on the Devon side, Bere Alston and Bere Ferrers are pretty villages to visit.
Tamar Valley AONB
So much to see in and around the Tamar Valley AONB.
Beautiful woodland around Gunnislake, Calstock, Cotehele & Gulworthy.
The River Tamar itself is perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. Good launching spots from Morwellham, Calstock and Cotehele.
