Kings Park is great for anyone new to Perth. There are some lovely cafe's and Fraser's Restaurant at Kings Park. You also get to see panoramic views of Perth city and the Swan River as far as the eye can see.

Fremantle has soooo much history, there's the Roundhouse and the old Fremantle gaol that you've got to see. There's the Fremantle markets now open most days, cafes and restaurants galore and souvenir shops too.
