One of the most popular beaches in the area. You can see elephant seals here throughout the year but they're greatest in number from December through June.
Walk through a lagoon and roughly 1/4 mile of small sand dunes before reaching the ocean. This beach tends to get hotter as it's sheltered from the ocean winds. If you pay close attention, you'll see endangered plovers skipping about their protected areas.
