Every Sunday, there is a Farmers market, good pubs (our favorite is Shoulder of Mutton) and some nice gastro restaurants. We like going there for hiking, great views from Holcombe Hill.

Park joining Prestwich and Whitefield. Several hiking and cycling trails. The national cycling route 6 goes through it. We walk there often, you feel miles away from the city!

The village is famous for its witches. Good hikes nearby, the best one is maybe the Witches Trail going over Pendle Hill. Make sure you stop at the pub on the way back for a pint of Pendle Witches Brew!

Beautiful park and great walks. Plenty of sheep and deer. The manor house has a nice tearoom. We love walking there during spring as there are plenty of lambs in the surrounding fields

Good place to spend a day. It is a very posh village where some of the Man United players live. Along the main street, there plenty of nice restaurants and bistros. If you pass the town, go for a walk by the edge, great views of the Cheshire fields.
