Great food. Have outside seating which is great when the weather is nice. We have only gone here for dinner on date night. We have never taken our kids, but have seen other older kids here before.

Cool atmosphere and great food. Something that's not on the menu but fun is the plantain burger. Plantain in place of a bun with a great hamburger. Comes with yucca fries which are something fun to try.
The atmosphere inside is great and they also have a sweet outdoor patio.

Local pizza place that is fabulous.
There are a couple people in our family who cannot have gluten or cow's milk and this pizza place makes pizzas that we can eat!

Sayolrville Lake is the largest lake the is in the Des Moines metro. They have a visitor center that our kids really enjoy.
