It is sometimes called "Land of the Brave" or the History Capital of the Philippines. Those who live in Cavite are called Caviteños.

This is an annual project of the city of Dasmariñas that recognizes the academic and personal achievements of outstanding Dasmarineño students in the elementary, secondary and tertiary levels. 2). Flower Offering on October 5. This is very important activity to pays tribute to local heroes who gallantly served the town., known as Dasmariñas Day. 3). Paruparu Festival Novemeber 26. It is celebrated to commemorate the incorporation of the city of Dasmariñas with people dancing in the busy street
