This is our local park. Walk from the traffic lights down Park road. The entrance is on the left over a bridge. The River Bela runs through the village and the park out to the estuary. It is the home to a herd of Fallow Deer that can be seen all year around. You can do a walk to the top gate in the park and down the road in front of Dallam Tower and back through the gate along the path following the river back to the gate. There are lots of lovely walks around here. Just look out for the sign posts and enjoy exploring.

Sizergh Barn is on the road to Kendal. It has a gallery café that overlooks the milking parlour. Great for children to watch the cows being milked and enjoy tea and cakes or a light lunch. Check milking times. There is also a nice shop for gifts and clothes and on the ground floor a farm shop with fresh produce and jams, bread and cakes.
