Mdina was the capital city of Malta before Valletta was build. It’s ideal for who loves history. Guests can visit the Cathedral, the catacombs, national national museum and have a chocolate cake with amazing views at the Fontanella. Or just walk around the charming narrow streets.

First off, Upper Barrakka Gardens! Since the 1560s this spot has the best view of the Grand Harbour. Tip: if you visit at 12:00 or at 16:00 you will see a Cannon Salute!
Art lovers make sure to visit the MUZA museum where you will find artworks from throughout history and even the famous works of Mattia Preti, Victor Pasmore and Antonio Sciortino.
If you are interested in Archaeology visit the National Museum Of Archaeology where you can find artifacts from prehistory (6500 years old!) and Phoenician times.
