For a few beers and a great feed, the Southern Hotel is closeby. I do believe they have a courtesy bus if you need to be collected.

Neighbourhood
The football club is close to where I live. Most weekends there is something on there and during the week, afternoons until about 6pm there is practices. There is noise, but it doesn't get too loud or last for long.

Depending on Traffic- everything is about 10mins away by car
Whilst Toowoomba has a population of over 150,000 and it is quite spread out, depending on times of travel,🚘 usually, it takes about 10 to 15mins to get anywhere by car.
Buses, however, take longer, but the service is good during the day.

We can have many seasons in one day. In every season except summer it usually starts out cool, warms up of course and then around 3pm, starts to get colder again. Then if you add in the westerly winds - it's chilly. Just be prepared for anything is my advice. - Layers, layers layers!
