This is always our first stop once we land in Kona! FOB has the best Island food, and the turkey tails, lamb ribs, oxtail stew, and pork belly are a must have!!! The owner prepares her food for the day, and when closes when she runs out. This is also a great place to purchase some local gift items as well!

This is the location of the City of Refuge. They have a great visitors center, and a private beach to spend the day. The beach has picnic tables and is quite secluded. They charge a $5 entree fee, but it is good for a week.

This is a great beach where many of the locals go. This beach offers spectacular snorkeling, and every time we visit the beach, we have skorkeled with the sea turtles.

This is one of the best "hot spring" parks I've been to. It's close to the Kapoho Tide Pools, so you can make a day of it!

Hawi is peaceful little town in North Kohala. Havi is known for being the bicycle turnaround point for the Annual Ironman World Championships that are held in October. In Hawi, you'll find art galleries, jewelry stores, shopping, restaurants and more. If you're headed north, you need to stop here.
