This park is a great place to visit day and night. Its close to restaurants and also is the departing point for kayaking tours of the Fajardo's bio bay. During the day, you'll also find multiple water taxis making the round-trip to the stunning keys that make up the Cordillera Keys Nature Reserve.

You can take traditional, night and thematic tours from here—on bike, kayak or trolley—always in the company of a environmental interpreter who will show you everything about the ecosystems, landscapes, and wildlife of the reserve, including the breathtaking view of the northeast tip of Puerto Rico form the top of the Fajardo Lighthouse. These photos are from a trip we took with my son’s Boyscout troop.

For the brightest bio bay experience make sure to visit Laguna Grande in Las Croabas. All tours will take you through the lagoon where you can experience the glowing water and mangroves on a 2 hour kayak adventure. Its a must do!!

Located in Fajardo, on the northeastern-most tip of Puerto Rico, right along the rugged coast, this little pool is a hidden gem. It is in Las Cabezas de San Juan nature reserve property, so it is not accessible by car. Getting there is a bit of a walk, but La Zanja is so pretty, it is worth the hike.

Located in Fajardo, on the northeastern-most tip of Puerto Rico, right along the rugged coast, this little pool is a hidden gem. It is in Las Cabezas de San Juan nature reserve property, so it is not accessible by car. Getting there is a bit of a walk, but La Zanja is so pretty, it is worth the hike.
