A lovely system of trails with the option to stay relatively flat, or hike down to the beach via Close Property trail, or all the way to Lynwood Center via the Peters trail. Birds and wildlife area.

A lovely system of trails with the option to stay relatively flat, or hike down to the beach via Close Property trail, or all the way to Lynwood Center via the Peters trail. Birds and wildlife area.

Near the Grand Forest, this is a great stop for a coffee or lunch at the New Rose Cafe on the premises. Limited indoor seating, it's best on a warm day!

Walk down the hill from the studio, 400m, to get to the beach. It's a good running/walking loop, adding in Manitou Beach Drive and Hyla Ave. And - at low tide - Rolling Bay is a sandy beach.

From the playground to the astrological building, so much happens at this park. Walking/biking path, turf and grass fields, baseball diamonds, tennis court, picnic shelter, and Forest-to-Sky trail.

The Suquamish tribe recently opened a new museum on NE South Street/Division Ave NE. Artifacts returned from the University of Washington's Burke Museum may be viewed. Chief Sealth's grave is nearby.

It's small, and full of local/national history without being overwhelming. The knowedgable tour guides tell some good stories - it's more interesting than you might think!

Forested trails to the east and west also make loops. Bring a map from our red desk or use a QR scanner on the signed trails to find your way.
