This is my favorite place to go in the summer. It is a beautiful drive up Big Cottonwood canyon and a nice nature walk around the small Silver Lake (this one is even stroller friendly).

Activities
This is has a lot of cool attractions that are kid friendly and interesting for adults at the same time. I haven’t personally been to the butterfly biosphere, but that is on my list of places to go. I’ve heard great things!

Utah is known to have some awesome bike trails for mountain biking. The ski resorts also open in the summer to allow mountain bikers to ride the lift up the mountain and ride their bike down the mountain. This is a nearby ski resort that accommodates mountain bikers in the summer.
