Food scene
Its our top choice for our guests and always proves us right. It is Portuguese food served with a more modern twist without being an up market restaurant. We suggest trying the Octopus and if you enjoy your wine, try the local Patrão Diogo wine which is locally produced by a friend of ours and is a lovely and enjoyable wine.

This place is great because of its fabulous outdoor space, with lovely views of the national palace. It has a chilled out feeling and the food also follows the same philosophy with a good mix of fusion and portuguese food. Cocktails here are great and they often have live music early in the evenings.

Long lines for sights after 10.30am
The rush from Lisbon often arrives around 10.30/11.00 am so getting to the monuments before this helps to avoid crowds.
