I've lived in this area for 20 years and have tasted many of the restaurants. These are some of my favorites and I can recommend them to you.
Amazing mussels and pasta. Plus the ambiance and outdoor semi-covered patio is very nice... lights, water fountain... You dine at Ricardo's....you won't be disappointed. Call to book because they fill up fast: 250-766-6810

Small, hidden in a very small shopping centre, but well worth the visit for an affordable, tasty thai food. I recommend any of the soups and the coconut curry dishes. Mmmmmm!

If you don't want to travel into Kelowna (a short 15 minute drive), a nice pub in Lake Country is Turtle Bay. It has a nice atmosphere and plenty of seating.

Parks & Nature
A nice little hike up a short mountain next to kelowna. Great views of the city from the top. A good to-do if you want to get some exercise without breaking a sweat.

Minutes away by car but a beautiful forested little park that's surrounded by Kalamalka lake. Worth a visit on a nice day! :)

It's the busiest beach in Kelowna, but it's worth a visit. Nice volleyball area, kids jungle gym on the beach with rope swing into the water. A must visit for any age!

Sightseeing
A walk along the lake in downtown kelowna is recommended. Start at the Kelowna City Park in the south and work your way up along the boardwalk to Grand Okanagan Hotel.
