Upmarket Hotel. I love to sit for one or two at the area where you can watch the professional chefs prepare the food. You also have the option to book a table in the restaurant part of the hotel as well. Can be casual in the front area or more formal towards the back part. This is also run by the sons of Jacques Raymond who was a 3 star chef in Melbourne for many, many years.

Entertainment
Whether its music, Luna Park for kids, festivals like Moomba or Art, it's all within easy reach from my place.
Perfect for the young or young at heart, Luna Park has been a cornerstone of every young Melburnian's childhood... Until Adventure World opened up... But now that it's closed down it's back!

So many Parks to choose from all within easy level walking..
Fawkner Park is across the road with a great off lead doggy section and many locals to chat to if you feel social. Pleasant all year around, the daffodils in winter are a bright spot, the shady trees are peaceful in the hot weather. Watch local cricket matches or a baseball game.
Albert Park lake is also a short walk away which is where the Grand Prix is held, but it's a wonderful 5K walk around the lake with swans and trees for a bit of inspiration. Great for a run if you are a runner too.
A little further on, walk towards Domain Road and the Botanical Gardens where you will find many delights, peaceful spots and a wide variety of Botanical species. If you walk through the Botanical Gardens, then its a short walk across the River to the Tennis as well or sometimes, I even like to venture through to Richmond.
Great gardens, peaceful, nice place to walk through on your way to Richmond or the city or then cross the river to the Tennis Centre.
