Easton is a quiet little town on the Eastern Shore - lovely 90 minute drive to get there. Lots of shops, eateries, a very large playground (designed by kids!), and on the way to the Chesapeake Maritime Museum.

Located in lovely St. Michael's, just past Easton, is this little gem of a maritime museum. Check the website for annual events, such as the Antique & Classic boat festival.
