Known as 'The Glen' this is a beautiful park with plenty to see and do. Walled Garden, museum, river walks, forest walks, peacocks and a cafe. Take a right when you come out of the house, cross the road and walk along the street that has Monterey Jack's on the corner. Keep walking until you reach The Abbey and you'll find one of the entrances to The Glen.

Another lovely walk, a little bit further this time but still walkable. There are water sports and lovely walks here as well as a cafe (that's sometimes open).

A short bus trip from the end of the road and you will get to Dunfermline's Leisure park. Filled with restaurants and things to do, including an Odeon Cinema. Careful though, it is pricey.

Abbot House is the oldest building in Dunfermline. Lying in the shadow of Dunfermline's great abbey church, the core of the building is 16th-century. Following five years of closure, Abbot House is now undergoing a programme of renovation with plans to reopen in a phased approach. The Gift Shop opened in August 2020, with further renovation now planned for Spring 2021 due to inevitable delays caused by the Covid pandemic. The Gift Shop is a beautifully curated shop and houses many local makers and artists.
