The Indianapolis Indians play here, and tickets are very affordable. Almost every day has a promotion. The ballpark is quite nice for a AAA team, and the backdrop of downtown is lovely.

The Indiana Pacers of the NBA and Fever of the WNBA play here. It's a pretty nice venue and tickets usually aren't outrageous.

Next to the NCAA headquarters, the hall of champions is a museum dedicated to student athletes across the country. It's a pretty cool place and very interactive.

This is a beautiful park in downtown Indy. Numerous museums are within the park, as well as the zoo and various trails. Rent a multi-person bike or pedal boat. The lawn is a cool concert venue.

There's so much to see inside from the Imax theater presentations to the galleries on the history of everything Indiana. There's also a nice little cafe that overlooks the canal.

A stunning museum displaying all sorts of history on Native Americans. It also has a great little cafe inside and outdoor seating on the beautiful canal.

Pan Am Plaza

This goliath memorial to the soldiers from the World Wars is modeled after the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus. It's breathtaking from the outside, but the shrine room is a must-see. Admission is free.

Easily one of my favorite bars. Steins of 32 oz german beers, Bavarian food served since 1894 (it's also a historic landmark), and live music Thurs-Sat on the vast outdoor patio in the summer.

Roughly a 3 mile loop around the downtown canal. It's a very pleasant walk, run, or bike ride. It offers picturesque views, and goes past man restaurants and museums.
