My favorite for beautiful and unique lampshades, tea towels, mugs, fabric and all sorts of others. The owners and designers are two local women.

Parks & Nature
Great way to spend a day -- you can take in the views, walk around the gorgeous park and its gardens or go to the different sites that are part of historic Greenwich. The view of London is unparalleled. There's a nice cafe in the park, but it can get quite busy.

It's essentially a big heath next to Blackheath "town" and Greenwich Park, which is lovely.

This is a "little engine that could" of a restaurant. The chef is the owner and clearly cares about his south Indian fare, which is delicious. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait for the food and the wine and beer have run out -- you can go to the nearby excellent Theatre of Wine to bring into the restaurant -- but I have always found it worth it. I understand from people who know that it is very authentic.

Chef Guy Awford opened the Guildford Arms after the wonderful Inside closed. He is being a bit more experimental here, focusing on local produce. It is a good find dining experience, although I still miss Inside.
