I call Shelburne Lunenburg light because it has much of the historic charm along its waterfront without the large crowds. There are museums, historic homes and a few eateries to enjoy.

Probably the South Shore of Nova Scotia's most popular beach. Locally known as the Caribbean of the north due to its aquamarine water. Due to its popularity, parking can be a challenge.

Located in the quaint artist community of Port Medway this is a nice park alongside the local fishermans wharf. An even nicer lighthouse is just a few km around the corner on Long Cove Road.

More than just a garden centre....... Cosby's has acres of unique concrete sculptures produced by the owner. Aside from the amazing sculptures, there also seemingly endless gardens filled with rare and beautiful specimens. The gardens are funded by visitor donations as there is no entrance fee.

A great hiking spot and National Park. Maintaned trails and not overly difficult for children or adults. Ends at a beautiful white sand beach. A large population of seals usually on the rocks by the beach. Washroom at trailhead
