Delicious! "Each and every pizza is hand formed, carefully topped and skillfully timed to be removed at just the right point. Our pies receive their ingredients sourced from neighboring farms, our toppings are the stars of the show. Our dough is made daily from a natural leaven (sourdough starter), toasted crispy, flat bread style in our Mugnaini oven."

A great small town grocery store with local produce and goods! "The Sperryville Corner Store is one-of-a-kind. A place stuck in time, yet somehow so right in the modern world. Local produce, friendly atmosphere and a deep appreciation for the land, the mountains and everyone in between help to make this magical place a reality. Our country store has an abundant selection of fresh meats and seafood. We carry an array of Virginia and international wines. Our selection of American Craft and Import beers is unrivaled in the area and something in which we take great pride. Local seasonal produce, house-made sandwiches for your hike and snacks-a-plenty await. We carry everything you need from cereal to fresh heirloom tomatoes, local herbs , fresh mozzarella, sushi grade tuna, scallops, salmon and gourmet chocolates."

In August of 2017, after selling the Foster Harris House in Washington Virginia and travelling for two months through Europe gathering ideas and inspiration, owners John and Diane MacPherson set out to rebuild 20 Main Street in Sperryville. The low slung cinder block box of a building would soon become the two story white stuccoed gem that is now Three Blacksmiths. Renovated in no small part by the trio of John, Diane and sous chef Ethan Taylor, the building was transformed into a space warmed by wood and flickering candles. A wood-fired hearth at the heart of the dining room transforms ingredients into delicious morsels. And the intimacy of seven tables sets just the right tone for a special evening of delicious food and warm hospitality with a hint of European comfort.
