Loop trail offers a lovely, low-impact hike in the woods. Do a portion of it via marked shortcuts or the whole thing (map in the parking lot). Great if you are looking for a 1 hour nature experience

Beautiful setting. Great food, excellent service. Overlooks a stunning waterfall. Lunch is the best bet - less expensive than dinner and totally delicious.

Front of the restaurant is very collegiate and can be a bit rowdy during big Dartmouth weekends. The food is good as is the service. If you want a more quiet space, ask to sit in the back.

Food is delicious. Restaurant is not directly on Main Street, so gets a bit less traffic, though locals and Hop theater-goers are in on the secret. Service can be frustrating, but worth the wait.
