In Mells we are totally blessed with an award winning pub The Talbot Inn, which The Sunday Times says is "the closest thing to a perfect pub". Whether you're there to eat or drink, at any time of the day, it's just a lovely place to be & the staff are super friendly.

Black Swan Arts is a creative hub in centre in the heart of Frome that features contemporary and innovative arts and crafts. It's a mix of exhibition space, a shop, studios, workshops & a fabulous Cafe; The River House.
Black Swan Arts incorporate the Discover Frome Information Point which is your go-to location for tourist information in Frome, situated in Studio Shop 4. It also houses The River House cafe, Frome's best spot for an all day breakfast/brunch/lunch.

On the edge of Beckington, a village 15 mins drive away, is White Row. Farm shops don't really come much better than this.
White Row were one of the first shops to measure your food in 'miles' between its source, to their shop.
Incorporates a great selection of fruit & veg, a butcher, fishmonger, daily freshly baked bread, deli, gift shop, cafe/restaurant, fresh flowers & fish & chip shop (eat in or takeaway). And, there's a lovely outside space to eat & drink in featuring a climbing frame & ride on tractors for kids to roam too.

White Row Farm
On the edge of Beckington, a village 15 mins drive away, is White Row. Farm shops don't really come much better than this.
