Two ferry rides from Vancouver Island but well worth it because you feel like you're in another universe with lots of hippies! Super good beaches, community market, Helliwell Park trails, pizza!

You haven't been to Vancouver Island if you don't take in Long Beach Provincial Park between Ucluelet and Tofino on the west coast. A 2 1/2 hr. drive from Comox, the last hour on winding road.

You just have to go! It's spectacular, especially if you get a sunny day. Surfing, trails, towns to visit in Ucluelet (less commercial) and Tofino, Visit the aquarium in Ucluelet for sure!

The best small hospital in BC! Just a bit biased as my husband is one of the administrators. You don't want to visit here unless you really need to, though! Stay safe!

A great place to visit any season of the year! Take the chairlift to the top and look out over the Valley. Hike Paradise Meadows and more in the summer or cross-country and alpine ski in winter.
