You can ride the two-person carts down the mountain at speeds up to 27 MPH - complete with three 360-degree loops. They are open every day year-round, including ski season at nearby Sugar and Beech Mountains.

Fun hiking spot on top of Beech Mountain - about 10 minutes from the cabin by car! A few loops in varying lengths - nothing super strenuous but a great place to stretch your legs and see some views from the top of Beech Mountain.

Fun hike on Beech Mountain! Hike-able from the house if you follow the roads to one of the many trail heads along the trail. Run along a river with nice small waterfalls and swimming holes. Great hike with decent elevation gains!
