Its a bit out of the city but within 15 minute cycle of my home. Feels a bit rugged but easy to manage a gentle walk

Lovely quiet park that leads to the river. There is also Oriel fields next to it which also banks the river. Lots of wildlife here including deer if you are lucky... About 15 min walk through leafy Iffley to here...

Awesome beauty spot on the river with lots of paths, waterways, trees and wildlife. About 20 min walk or 8 minute cycle from my house, buses also go nearby...

The Bully as its affectionately known provides all manner of entertainment, but primarily music with a bit of comedy thrown in. There's a bar out front too in case you just fancy a drink!

Its not only a great place for a daytime drink/meal/ cuppa as a detour from a beautiful walk along the river, it also acts as a music venue in the evening. To get there you normally pass a local beauty spot , Iffley Lock.
Great jazz/folk on Sunday afternoons to compliment your roast.

My 'local' and its a great one. Serving great Sunday lunch as well as daily food options, and local beers on tap. There's a beer garden and they are very friendly as well as being super covid careful. Great option and close to Florence park which is a lovely spot for a walk
