Thought I would play google for a bit- these are places I’ve actually tried. By all means discover your own fav’s too! But here’s a little help! I love food when I’m not eating I’m talking about food and I’m thinking about food and I’m wondering what I’m gonna eat for dinner when I wake up in the morning.

RV provides a full kitchen but for the days you’re not feeling it- Leo’s is down the road! (Around 3 miles away) I’m a little bit hard to please and there house salad is ON ANOTHER LEVEL. I know, I know…it’s just a house salad but I took a photo of it so you can see for yourself. They make their own croutons- the lettuce is really fresh- thick shaved Parmesan slices. As well, the dressings are fresh and homemade- blue cheese dressing(with actual blue cheese chunks) ranch, balsamic etc. Besides that, all the other Italian food is pretty darn good for a local neighborhood spot. They have specials every day and their prime rib special on Friday and Saturday nights is extremely popular! Leo and Michelle are the owners and they’re super cool/chill. Relaxing environment. …..tasty place. Oh and Michelle makes the desserts.

Run- don’t walk! This is 2.1 miles from the property. You might be mad I told you about this place…..you won’t get this burger out of your head anytime soon. To die for onion rings! And fresh pickles!

Family style restaurant with huge portions. Local people love this place- I know a married couple that hoard their pizza.

Recommend by past guest….”Went in on a recommendation from the B&B owner where we were staying. Got a flight of their different Moonshine and Whiskey. Our favorite was the honey flavored Moonshine. Had a live band playing on their outside patio and as the distillery does not serve food, there is a Mexican restaurant next door with a walk up window off the patio where you can order food. What I saw of it, it looked good. Highly recommend trying this place if in Bastrop”

Our favorite was the honey flavored Moonshine. Had a live band playing on their outside patio and as the distillery does not serve food, there is a Mexican restaurant next door with a walk up window off the patio where you can order food. What I saw of it, it looked good. Highly recommend trying this place if in Bastrop”
